every thursday night
The first Thursday of every month, the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego hosts TNT (Thursday Night Thing), an ongoing program of intriguing events in MCASD's Downtown galleries. Beginning at 7 pm, something different and interesting will be happening downtown— from slide jams, DJ lessons, and poetry readings to live bands, artists' talks, and video projections— TNT's eclectic events will be occasions to interact with the arts and artists in the San Diego region.
Today's Pioneers: Women Photojournalists in Iraq and Afghanistan - San Diego Museum of Photographic Arts

This exhibition examines thirty-five images by award-winning contemporary photographers Stephanie Sinclair and Andrea Bruce. Their work brings the legacy of the earlier women photojournalists full circle. Sinclair and Bruce capture on film not only active combat but domestic life in the Middle East not accessible to their male counterparts.

This unique outdoor film series opens its second season. The lamp-heated patio venue is next to the Tops salon, 4040 Goldfinch St., in San Diego Mission Hills neighborhood.Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and screenings begin at 8:30 p.m. General admission is $12 and annual memberships are $60.
Andy Warhol's Dream America - San Diego Musuem of Art

Andy Warhol's Dream America showcases more than 110 of Andy Warhol's memorable screenprints from the Jordan Schnitzer Family Foundation. With a focus on prints made in series, the exhibition provides a comprehensive overview of Warhol's printmaking career, as well as a unique opportunity to view a large selection of his complete print portfolios.
