Sneak Preview Self Promotion
: This
self promotion won the American Marketing Association/
San Diego Amy Award 2002 for Best Direct Mail Marketing.
I've always loved watching movies and poking fun at my Italian heritage, so I decided to create a promo piece that would unite those two elements. The package consists of a mock movie poster, a spoof of "The Mexican", completed with a custom Motion Picture Association of America's recommendation card, and my resume, as an oversized movie stub. I also included some microwave popcorn, to create a real movie experience and a humorous, self-stamped reply card.
A CD version of this promo was also produced.
